USS Samuel B. Roberts

The Samuel B.Roberts was a John C. Butler class destroyer escort built during World War Two. The ship was one of the infamous Taffy 3, which was a flotilla of escort carriers, destroyers, and destroyer escorts which held the line against a Japanese main fleet during the Battle off Samar.
